What is a credit?
A credit measures usage of CodeConvert AI tools. One credit is deducted when a conversion, code generation, or code explanation completes successfully.
What is the maximum input length?
The free converter accepts up to 4,000 characters per conversion. Pro subscriptions support up to 25,000 characters, while Premium subscriptions support up to 100,000 characters.
Will I lose a credit if a request fails?
No. Credits are deducted only after a request completes successfully.
When are responses streamed?
Paid users with an Access Pass or active subscription receive streamed responses when the input contains more than 100 characters.
Are code conversions always accurate?
CodeConvert AI produces conversions to the best of the AI model's understanding, but programming languages can implement the same concepts differently and some features have no direct equivalent. Always review and test generated code before using it in production.
Is my code secure? Do you save the input or output?
AI requests are routed through Vercel AI Gateway with Zero Data Retention enabled and prompt training disallowed. For free tools used without logging in, we store inputs and results to support shareable links; you can remove them with the Delete my data action on the results page. Logged-in users can choose cloud history or local-only storage and can delete uploaded context files. Read our code privacy policy.
Can I change my subscription plan?

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel a subscription from the Account page after logging in. Week Pass and Month Pass products are one-time purchases and therefore do not require cancellation. Contact us if you need assistance.
What happens after I cancel my subscription?
You will not be charged again, and your subscription benefits will remain available until the end of the current billing period.

Can I upload project files for better AI context?
Yes. Paid users can upload individual files or ZIP archives so the AI assistant can provide project-aware conversions, explanations, and generations. Pro users can upload up to 100 files, while Premium users can upload up to 250 files.
Which file types can I upload?
CodeConvert AI supports more than 70 file types, including major programming languages, JSON, YAML, TOML, Markdown, and plain text. When you upload a ZIP archive, folders such as node_modules, .git, dist, and build are excluded automatically.
